Checkatrade Foundation has been set up to help those in need. Our heart is for children. This year our focus is Redwood Park School in Portsmouth. A school for Special Children (with needs).We are raising £130,000 to replace very inadequate sports changing facilities (no toilets or showers) with a modern up to date building with heating, showers and toilets. Sport is a massive therapy for children with special needs. It's unbelievable that in 2013 this is not automatically supplied by the local councils in schools like this.Our MD and Founder Kevin to help raise this huge figure is running 12 marathons in 12 months on a tread mill at different Sainsbury's in Hampshire and West Sussex.Please support us to help these special children.Thanks
